We’re calling it The Give a Damn Series, and it’s exactly what it sounds like.
At Big Mood Designs, we believe small businesses can do more than make cool things. We can show up for our communities, use what we have to help, and shine a little extra light on the people and causes that deserve it.
Throughout the year, we choose causes, organizations, families, and community initiatives that matter to us and find meaningful ways to give back.
Sometimes that means creating a special collection and donating a portion of every sale. Sometimes it means putting together a locally sourced raffle, collaborating with other small businesses, or helping bring more attention to a cause that deserves to be seen.
There isn’t a set schedule or a one-size-fits-all formula.
The goal is simply to give a damn, with intention.
How Give a Damn Works
Give a Damn campaigns are intentionally limited in duration so each cause gets the attention it deserves.
Most campaigns run for approximately 4–6 weeks, with one featured Give a Damn campaign active at a time. This allows us to focus our products, storytelling, and community support on one cause before moving on to the next.
Selected campaigns may include:
- Limited-edition or cause-specific products
- A percentage of eligible sales donated directly to the featured cause
- Raffles or giveaways featuring locally sourced products and services
- Community collaborations
- Social media awareness and storytelling
Each Give a Damn campaign is a little different depending on the cause and what will make the biggest impact.
